I had a quick idea to produce this short video after doing the final touches to one of my other asignments.
Just collaged a collection of images I found regarding the Occupy movement and Wall Street and compiled them in Adobe Premier Pro.
I stumbled upon this artist whilst searching for Occupy wall Street images on google.
I have looked into some of his work and I can happily say that this man is my new favourite artists; his style of drawing is what is aspire to ba able like.

I adapted a Wild West comic strip which is published in the back of a local newspaper.
As I am focusing on the occupy movement and the idea of economical injustice as a theme to work with for this brief.
Ive played with words here, representing a (assumed) stereotypical upperclass/dirty rich life style where people have been brought up living a certain way and having certain expectations and taking their riches for granted ect.
I cannot vouch for how accurate the comments made here are; I just repeated what I have heard the Newcastle City Occupy protesters saying.

The people of The Database.
This is a further development of my idea of using National Insurance numbers as a way to represent people.
My theme for this module is going to be based around the Occupy movement, I think this hits this theme quite well as to the government we are all just numbers, figures and statistics on a database.
I think its a good contrast as (From what I understand) we are the ones who pay & decide upon who runs our country, like a lot of other countries yet we are the people who are suffering financially.
I think my next move will be to represent the financial imbalance between the every day person, upper class people and the ridiculously rich people such as he bankers and politicians ect.

This is just a random image that I did on Illustrator. I took a picture of some weird graffiti that I saw down towards Quayside and took it into Illustrator to play with.
Think it looks pretty good and my skills on illustrator have improved a lot since my self portrait.
These images I created by taking a normal photograph from around Newcastle and scanning in images of people from around the world (Arabs, Mongolian’s, Thai market-men ect.) and blending them together.
What I was trying to do here was focus on culture as a way to represent the human form; all the people in these images are (obviously) human, but from different cultures from around the world.
I think they have worked quite well; I think if I was to follow this further I would use better quality images as this composition & resolution of these are not so great.

‘Occupy.’
To produce this image I found out 7 countries which have had the highest volume of people that participated in ‘Occupy’ Protests and represented the people by using their national flags, I also use the eroding wall as a visual representation of ‘Wall Street’.
I originally put ‘We are the 99%’ in with this image but removed it shortly as I think it looks more poignent without it; those who know anything about the Occupy movement should be able to understand this by just seeing ‘Occupy’ in the bottom right corner.
